They provide direct light through a GU4 lightbulb with a medium beam. They can be used with LED bulbs. The different lengths allow the light to be brought closer to the point of use, and the various shapes allow for different orientations. They are generally used to illuminate worktops or reading areas, or to direct accent lighting onto paintings, sculptures, and objects. They are made of hand-blown and hand-formed transparent borosilicate glass.
